To post a bail in Multnomah County you can either mail the payment or go in person to the Multnomah Correctional Institution located at 1120 SW 3rd Ave. Portland, OR 97204. Honored forms of payment include cash, payroll checks, cashier's checks, attorney's checks, money orders and credit cards. Please note that if you mail your payment in a check it may take up to 7 days to release the defendant once the it is confirmed bank account has sufficient funds. Additionally, credit card payments have an additional fee of 8% that will not be refundable, and the person providing the credit card acquires full financial responsability.
