Accused officer's widow wants bail money back

The widow of former Grand Junction Police Department officer Glenn Coyne wants a judge to order a refund of tens of thousands of dollars he paid to get out of jail.

In a motion filed Oct. 9, Michelle Coyne of Grand Junction said the return of $20,000 paid by her husband on Oct. 3 to a Montrose bail bondsman “would be just and prevent unjust enrichment.”
