A second set of meetings took place last week between the commercial bail bond industry and representatives of various criminal justice related agencies. I was not in attendance but was told the meetings were very productive. More meetings are scheduled this week which I will be a participant as a representative for American Surety Company. It is important to note this effort is a work in progress and wherein we are all hoping the result will be a solution that will benefit the citizens of Oregon, its judicial system and the commercial bail bond industry.
